Returns and Warranty: What’s CoveredUpdated 2 months ago

Our warranty covers any manufacturing defects present at the time of delivery.
If you believe your product has a manufacturing defect, you can return it following our warranty process.
However, please note that normal wear and tear, damage caused by misuse, or prolonged use are not covered under warranty and cannot be accepted as valid return reasons.

This policy helps us maintain the highest standards for all our customers and ensures fair and consistent handling of returns.

Our Commitment to Quality

At Globe, we take quality seriously and stand behind the durability of our products. Every item — from footwear to apparel and skate hardgoods — is built to meet the demands of professional skateboarders and everyday riders alike.
Each product is thoroughly tested under real-world skate conditions before release, ensuring you receive gear that’s built to last.

Because of this rigorous process, true manufacturing defects are extremely rare.
However, if you believe you’ve received a product with a defect, we’ll make sure your case is reviewed quickly and fairly.

What Our Warranty Covers

Our warranty covers manufacturing defects or faults in materials or workmanship that existed at the time of delivery.
If such a defect is confirmed, we will offer a repair, replacement, or refund, in accordance with EU consumer law.

Examples of manufacturing defects include:

  • A sole or seam that separates immediately without wear.

  • A missing component or incorrect assembly.

  • Material failure present when the product is brand new and unused.

These issues are covered under both our Globe warranty and the EU legal guarantee of conformity.

What Is Not Covered

The warranty does not apply to:

  • Normal wear and tear from regular or intensive use.

  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, improper care, or alteration.

  • Issues developing only after prolonged use, such as worn soles, faded colors, or frayed fabric.

  • Separation, abrasion, or fatigue caused by extended or aggressive skating.

Damage appearing after months of use is considered normal wear, not a defect.

Under Directive (EU) 2019/771 and corresponding national laws, your purchase is protected by a legal guarantee of conformity.
This means your product must:

  • Match its description and advertised features,

  • Be of satisfactory quality, and

  • Be fit for the purpose for which it was sold.

Duration

You are protected for at least 24 months (2 years) from the date of delivery.
Member States may apply longer periods under their national legislation.

Scope and Presumptions

  • Any lack of conformity that becomes apparent within the first 12 months is presumed to have existed at delivery, unless proven otherwise by the seller.

  • After this period, you may need to show that the defect was present when the product was delivered.

Remedies

If your product shows a lack of conformity that existed at delivery, you have the right to request, free of charge:

  1. Repair or replacement of the product; or, if these are impossible or disproportionate,

  2. A price reduction or a full refund.

All claims are reviewed in line with these EU rules to ensure a fair and compliant outcome.

How to Submit a Warranty Claim

If you believe your product has a manufacturing defect, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us via the Warranty Claim Form

  2. Include your order number and proof of purchase.

  3. Attach clear photos of the issue and the overall condition of the product.

  4. Provide a short description of when and how the issue appeared.

Once received, our quality team will evaluate your claim.
If the issue qualifies as a manufacturing defect, we will repair, replace, or refund the product in accordance with consumer law.

Purchases Made Through Other Retailers

If you purchased your Globe product from another retailer, please contact that retailer directly regarding any faulty item.
Under EU law, the seller (the store you bought from) is responsible for applying the legal guarantee and must offer a repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate.

Please have your proof of purchase (receipt or bank statement) ready to help process the claim.

Our Promise

We stand by our products — and by the skateboarders who test them.
Our warranty covers only genuine manufacturing defects present at the time of delivery.
Damage from regular skating, heavy use, or misuse is part of normal wear and is not covered.

Thank you for understanding, and for choosing Globe.
Your feedback helps us continue building the most durable and performance-driven skate gear possible.
